Alex Rodriguez, one of the greatest athletes in the world, is a 3-time MVP, a 14-time all-star, and a 2009 World Series Champion with the New York Yankees. Mr. Rodriguez also founded A-Rod Corp, a fully integrated investment firm, led by himself and a team of seasoned investment professionals that manage both internal and external capital. In addition, Mr. Rodriguez regularly appears on four major television networks, including Fox, ESPN, ABC, and CNBC, on programs as diverse as ABC's "Shark Tank" and ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball." This year, Mr. Rodriguez debuted a CNBC television special in which he serves as a business mentor to former athletes facing financial distress. In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Rodriguez actively engages in a variety of philanthropic initiatives. He currently serves as a partner to Project Destined, on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club (BGC) of Miami-Dade, the Board of Trustees for the University of Miami, and remains actively involved with Florida International University. Mr. Rodriguez is passionate about education and has sponsored college tuition for over 30 students via his scholarship program.
