Anna is a former financial industry operator, marketer, and journalist. She began her career as an academic researcher in the finance unit of Harvard Business School, led a wealth manager through the financial crisis as COO, and was the founder of a boutique consultancy helping quantitative and other specialized asset managers build out marketing and sales operations. She covered African business and economies for This is Africa, a Financial Times publication, and has been an entrepreneur since age 16.

Anna co-founded Krypton Labs to help bring about an era of blockchain-native investment management. Krypton’s flagship technology introduces a new exchange primitive to the marketplace: The Fully Continuous Exchange, first ideated by Fischer Black in the 1970s. This mechanism drives down the costs of trading and market making to levels not seen before in finance, opening up the design space for real world assets exchange and a new economics of portfolio management.
