Arjun Sethi is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and executive who cofounded Tribe Capital, a $1.6B venture capital firm focused on capturing a perpetual edge in venture and crypto using data science. Notable investments include Apollo.io, Bolt, Carta, Kraken, Instabase, Relativity Space, and Shiprocket.

Arjun was previously a Partner at Social Capital where he led the Venture Team consisting of six full time GPs with a broad focus on early stage investing in the consumer and enterprise sector. Arjun has a long history of sourcing, winning and leading early stage deals. Arjun’s investments at Social Capital include notable companies such as Front, Carta, Cloud Kitchens and Relativity Space. Arjun was also on the team that helped lead the Social Capital Hedosophia IPO, a SPAC that merged with Virgin Galactic.

Arjun is considered one of the top 100 angels in the valley with advisory, direct, and secondary investments across stages including Snapchat, Lyft, OpenDoor, Gusto, Truecaller, and Rubrik. After his second company MessageMe was subsequently acquired by Yahoo, he joined the executive team at Yahoo leading mobile and emerging products where he drove mobile product usage from 100M to 1B monthly active uniques.  Before MessageMe, Arjun was a Founder and CEO of mobile gaming company LOLapps which he grew to 100M monthly users and for $240M.
