Joseph Chalom, Managing Director, is the Head of Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships at BlackRock and is responsible for developing and managing BlackRock's forward strategy in the digital asset, data and index, and technology ecosystems. This includes strategic partnerships and minority investments to drive ecosystem innovation and client solutions. Prior to this role, Joseph served as BlackRock's Deputy Chief Operating Officer. For over a doze years he served as the Chief Operating Officer of BlackRock Solutions, which delivers the firm's Aladdin technology to BlackRock and external clients globally. In this role, Joseph was responsible for commercial and financial strategy, risk management, and day-to-day operations of the BlackRock Solutions business. Joseph serves on the boards of Securitize, a leading provider in the tokenized assets and digital transfer agency space for private assets, and ClarityAI, a leading AI-powered sustainability platform and data provider. Joseph earned a B.A. degree, with honors, in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law.
