Kabir Nath is Chief Executive Officer of Compass Pathways. Kabir is a purpose-driven leader committed to those we serve, with a strong personal connection to the challenges of serious mental illness and to Compass’s mission.

With more than thirty years of broad international biopharmaceutical and medical technology experience, Kabir has shaped strategy to deliver results in complex, challenging business environments at the country, regional, and global level; he has lived and worked in seven countries across three continents.

Prior to joining Compass in August 2022, Kabir was Senior Managing Director of global pharmaceuticals at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and, before that, President and CEO of Otsuka’s North America Pharmaceutical Business, where he led the development of pharmaceutical products and digital solutions addressing complex mental health needs. Kabir has also held various leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb as well as a wide range of operational and strategic roles at the medical technology company Smith & Nephew. Kabir holds an MA from the University of Cambridge and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
