Marco is Head of International at iCapital and a member of the firm’sExecutive Committee. In this role, he is responsible for the global expansion and overalldevelopment of the firm’s business outside the United States with a focus onEMEA, APAC and LATAM markets.

Marco has more than 25 years of internationalexperience in the financial industry and has held senior executive positions inglobal organizations in wealth management and private equity. He joinediCapital from UniCredit, where he was CEO of Group Wealth Management and amember of the Group Executive Management Committee. Previously, Marco was withDeutsche Bank for 14 years, including nine years as Head of Wealth ManagementEMEA and CEO of Deutsche Bank Switzerland and, prior to this, as Global Head ofPrivate Equity for the Wealth Management division. Before joiningDeutsche Bank, Marco was Head of Private Equity Secondary Investments at LGTCapital Partners. He started his career with UBS where he held various roles ininvestment banking and private equity in Zurich, London, and New York.

He received a Master of Arts (lic.oec. HSG) from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and has served on theboards of the Swiss Bankers Association, Association of Foreign Banks inSwitzerland, and the Swiss Finance Institute. He is currently a member of theAdvisory Committee of Elevandi, an organization set up by the MonetaryAuthority of Singapore to foster an open dialogue between the public and private sectors toadvance FinTech in the digital economy.
