Nigel has over 30 years experience in the financial services sector, he previously held senior roles at Newton Fund Managers, BNY Mellon and the hedge fund manager Thames River Capital. He has been the CEO of two DFSA regulated entities, BNY Mellon (2005-2008) and Thames River Capital (2008-2010).

Nigel is the CEO of Insight Discovery, a multiple award-winning consultancy which advises companies on strategic communications, market intelligence and events. The majority of their retained clients are either financial or professional services companies.

Insight Discovery is a member of Global Communications Group, a network of independent financial communications agencies across the world. Insight Discovery is their sole member firm for the Middle East.

Insight Discovery every year between 2014 and 2021 was voted Best Consultancy Firm (Middle East) by Global Investor, part of Euromoney. Insight Discovery was also voted best research company in 2016 and 2015 by the publisher MENA FM, Fund Services Power 30, an annual guide to the most important figures in the fund services sector.

Nigel went to Oxford Brookes University, is married and has two daughters at university in the UK.
