Patrick Zhong has over 20 years of experience in VC, PE, and public equity. As the Founding Managing Partner of M31 Capital, he leads the firm's dedication to investing in next-generation companies with strong ties to China. M31 Capital has invested in industry leaders such as ByteDance, Grail, SuperMonkey, and others.

Prior to M31 Capital, Patrick served as Co-CEO of Giant Networks, a leading technology company in China, and Chief Investment Officer at Wanda Group, a global Fortune 500 company with major presence in real estate, entertainment, and sports. He also spent seven years as Senior Managing Director and Global Partner at Fosun Group, where he transformed the company into a global investment platform. Before returning to China, Patrick was an investor at Wellington Management where he made investments in the US and China and became a top institutional shareholder in Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba.com, Ctrip, Netease, and Focus Media, and a number of American leading growth companies.

Patrick holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree from China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing. He is also a CFA charter holder.
